Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Manager Intern to collaborate with our software and hardware engineering teams. In this role, you will define product roadmaps, establish feature requirements, and streamline value streams for the development of cutting-edge AI portals, big data platforms, and educational hardware kits. This is a unique opportunity to work at the crossroads of innovation and education while gaining invaluable experience in product management.
Responsibilities:
Product Roadmap Development:
Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps that align with organizational goals.
Work with hardware and software engineering interns to prioritize features and set timelines.
Product Definition:
Define and document clear product requirements and user stories for AI portals, big data solutions, and hardware kits.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with user needs.
Business Value Stream Analysis:
Map and analyze workflows to optimize value delivery for software and hardware products.
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and user outcomes.
Customer Experience Design:
Conduct user research and gather feedback to ensure an exceptional experience for educators and learners.
Implement strategies to improve usability, engagement, and satisfaction.
Collaboration and Communication:
Act as a liaison between the engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
Present progress, challenges, and solutions to leadership.
Qualifications:
Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
Basic understanding of AI, big data, and hardware development.
Experience:
Previous internship or coursework in product management, software development, or hardware engineering is a plus.
Experience or interest in STEM education is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams (software and hardware).
Basic proficiency in programming or familiarity with AI tools and hardware prototyping platforms like Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
